Main Thoughts: When a person does not bow to the gods of this world, others recognize the difference. As Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego chose to stand for God rather than bow to the world, the spotlight was taken off of Satan and placed on God. And God came through in an amazing way for these three faithful men!
Question To Discuss: How can I stand for God while others bow to the world?
Main Things To Pray For Each Other: Pray for boldness to stand firm for our Lord in this world we live in. Pray that we would each grow in our love for God.
Suggested Prayer Items: God, thank You for loving me and offering me salvation through Jesus. I pray that we will live for You no matter what others around us choose to do and live for. I pray for those that I know who don’t know You. We pray for their salvation and we pray that You would allow us to play a part in their salvation process. God, we pray for those in the world who are persecuted for their bold faith in You. May they experience Your presence and protection deeply.
