Scripture: Isaiah 40:13: Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has informed Him?
Main Thoughts: God knows all things. This means that God is omniscient. God is eternal. He know all things for all of eternity. As a result, there is no one who can teach or counsel God, for He already knows all things perfectly in His infinite knowledge and wisdom. People desperately need the counsel and wisdom of God in their lives.
Question To Discuss: What are some ways that we can learn wisdom from God? (bible, other Christians, prayer, experiences in life, etc).
Main Things To Pray For Each Other: Pray that we will each long for wisdom in our lives. Ask God to give us understanding as to how we can attain the wisdom of God and ask God to help us have resolve to seek out those ways. Pray that we will be informed, not by the things or wisdom of this world, but by God.
Suggested Prayer: God, we thank You that You are awesome and powerful and wise and eternal. We pray that we would seek to know You better every day of our lives. God, please grant us wisdom to see what is really real as we live in a world full of lies. Help us to focus on You and love you with all of our hearts.
