You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

Scripture: Psalm 34:8: O taste and see that the Lord is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Main Thought: Within this same Psalm we find the goodness of God even in the midst of heartache.
Questions To Discuss: What are some ways that God is good? Why can we be thankful even in times of heartache? Has there ever been a time in your life where you were hurting and God helped and comforted you?
Main Things To Pray For Each Other: Pray that we would understand how good God really is to us. Pray for any areas of each other’s lives where you might be hurting. Pray for God’s presence to be evident in that area.
Suggested Prayer Items: Our gracious God we thank You so much for loving us and being so closely involved in our lives. God, we pray for one another to gratefully understand Your goodness. God, if there are any heartaches in our lives, please comfort us and help us to sense Your presence in that situation.
