Scripture: II Corinthians 4:16: Therefore, we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
Main Thought: Even though our bodies age and eventually break down, our soul can grow stronger and stronger throughout our earthly life if we allow God to renew and strengthen us.
Questions To Discuss: How can our inner man be renewed? See Romans 12:1-3 and Colossians 3:16.
Main Things To Pray For Each Other: Pray that we would really understand that investing in our walk with Jesus is more important than anything else! Pray for one another to love God and desire a deep relationship with Him.
Suggested Prayer Items: God, thank you that the struggles of this world are not all there is. Thank you that we can flourish and grow despite the world around us. Help us all to focus on You. Help us to invest in what really matters. Help us to understand that there are three things that are everlasting, You, Your Word, and the souls of people. Help us to invest in those areas!
